Cousins, 32, told New Idea that Tinecheff’s pregnancy was unplanned but they were over the moon, Channel 7 News reported.

Cousins has been with Tinecheff, 38, for the past two-and-a-half years.

The good news comes as Cousins’ father last night revealed that his son had “some major hiccups” after close friends expressed fear that the former AFL star was on a downward spiral.

The confessed drug addict was said to be in a fragile state of mind and his mates said they were extremely concerned for him.

A friend said that since Cousins’ departure from AFL football his life had lost direction. He failed to commit to a mining job in Western Australia and has struggled for focus.

His father, Bryan Cousins, said his son’s attempt to rebuild his life had taken a “couple of bad turns” in the past three months and he was battling “troubled times”.

“What happened with Ben in the past three months? Has he had a couple of bad turns and things like that? Yeah, he probably has,” Mr Cousins said.

“Any person going through this has hiccups along the way – some minor, some major.”

He added his son continued to wrestle with his demons and it was a “work in progress”.

Cousins looked healthy and relaxed when he visited Melbourne for the Formula One Grand Prix in late March.

But shortly after returning to Perth, he reached crisis point. A distressed Cousins told friends he hadn’t slept for four days and was talking of feelings of helplessness.

His friends rallied to help.

Rani Mainwaring, widow of West Coast Eagles champion Chris, was one of those on “Cousins Watch” that weekend, checking in with him constantly.

A friend, who wished to remain anonymous, had a long phone conversation pleading with the Brownlow medallist to take care of himself.

The former Richmond and West Coast premiership player has struggled with substance abuse for years even at the peak of his playing career at the Eagles.

Last year his warts-and-all documentary covering his recovery from his addictions was a ratings winner for Channel 7.

At the time there were high hopes held by his friends and supporters that he had overcome his demons.

 Ms Mainwaring, whose husband died after taking a cocktail of drugs in October 2007, declined to discuss the situation. “No, I don’t want to talk about any of that, thank you,” she said.

Cousins was one of the last people to see Mainwaring alive and was hit hard by his untimely death.

There are hidden messages inscribed underneath the 16.5 carat diamond on Kim Kardashian‘s MASSIVE engagement ring … TMZ has learned.

Sources very close to the couple tell us Kris Humphries had two bible passage etched into the $2 million stunner … and they each have a special meaning for both Kim and Kris.

So far, we’re told, the couple isn’t revealing which passages are on the ring.

The reality starlet and her basketball star boyfriend Kris Humphries are set to tie the knot, with the couple going public overnight with news of their surprise engagement.

Humphries, a star forward for the New Jersey Nets, popped the question with a rock worth half as much as Kardashian’s Beverly Hills mansion TMZ reports.

The designer bling features a 16.5 carat emerald cut centre stone flanked by two 2-carat trapezoids, that weighs in at a whopping 20.5 carats.

Kardashain told People magazine that she arrived home to find the sportsman on bended knee with the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” spelled out in rose petals.

“I didn’t expect this at all,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said, ?I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

Of the ring, Humphries, a New Jersey Nets star forward, said: “I just knew I wanted it to be big.?

This won?t be Kardashian?s first trip down the aisle. In 2000 she wed music producer Damon Thomas before divorcing in 2004.

Tying the knot could earn the couple a small fortune according to Popeater.

Letting cameras follow all the rigmarole would reportedly net the celebrity duo more than $5 million.

TV executives are reportedly already in planning mode to launch a spin-off series that will follow all the wedding preparations before a televised ceremony.

Meanwhile, Forbes is already estimating Kardashian and Humphries could pocket around $3 million for their wedding photos.

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano will NOT face animal cruelty charges after officials found 4 dead dogs at the rocker’s home in Tennessee this weekend … TMZ has learned.

A rep for the Pet Adoption Welfare Services (PAWS) tells TMZ … Vinnie had kept all 4 animals in above-ground plastic storage bins, clearly marked as graves … with little memorials written on them — and even though it’s really creepy … it ain’t illegal.

TMZ broke the story … Vinnie was arrested for allegedly beating the crap out of his wife … and while cops were at the home, they noticed the dead animals and called PAWS to investigate.

Vinnie’s wife explained the dogs had been killed by ANOTHER one of the family’s 9 still-living dogs. PAWS tells us they will test all of the living pets for rabies.

Rocker Sheryl Crow is featured on the cover of Prevention magazine’s May 2011 issue.  In the interview she opens up about being a single mom to boys and taking pride in being a strict mom.

On her parenting style: 
?I?m strict.  They have to understand that somebody?s in charge and sometimes the answer is no. It?s about being consistent.?

On saying no to sons Wyatt, 4, and Levi, 1:
?I really think that you do them a disservice when they get out into the world and they realize they?re not entitled to have everything. I think we?ve gotten to that place where parenting has been equated with making a child happy.?

On being a single mom to two boys:

?I never thought I?d be raising a boy by myself. Now that I?m three and a half years in and I see Wyatt going into a little testosterone phase, I?m like, ?Whoa!? But he has great role models. He sees his two uncles and his granddad often.?
