And we’ve all got a looooong wait!

Disney has announced their planned release date for the Sam Raimi-directed 3D flick, Oz: The Great and Powerful. Audiences will get the chance to walk down the yellow brick road alongside James Franco, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams on March 8, 2013.

And what a walk it will be! We have high hopes for this project, only because such a stellar cast has been assembled. Still, we’re skeptical anyone can pay better homage to the classic tale better than the creators of Wicked, book and musical. We’ll try to keep an open mind though.
