KIM Kardashian is officially off the market, and she has a $2 million ring to prove it.
The reality starlet and her basketball star boyfriend Kris Humphries are set to tie the knot, with the couple going public overnight with news of their surprise engagement.
Humphries, a star forward for the New Jersey Nets, popped the question with a rock worth half as much as Kardashian’s Beverly Hills mansion TMZ reports.
The designer bling features a 16.5 carat emerald cut centre stone flanked by two 2-carat trapezoids, that weighs in at a whopping 20.5 carats.

Kardashain told People magazine that she arrived home to find the sportsman on bended knee with the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” spelled out in rose petals.
“I didn’t expect this at all,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said, ?I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
Of the ring, Humphries, a New Jersey Nets star forward, said: “I just knew I wanted it to be big.?
This won?t be Kardashian?s first trip down the aisle. In 2000 she wed music producer Damon Thomas before divorcing in 2004.
Tying the knot could earn the couple a small fortune according to Popeater.
Letting cameras follow all the rigmarole would reportedly net the celebrity duo more than $5 million.
TV executives are reportedly already in planning mode to launch a spin-off series that will follow all the wedding preparations before a televised ceremony.
Meanwhile, Forbes is already estimating Kardashian and Humphries could pocket around $3 million for their wedding photos.
